Hey guys, hope you’re all doing well and had a great Easter. I’m back again with another modest fashion post!
Honestly I’m not really one to care about trends. But this spring I’ve been seeing flowers absolutely everywhere and I have to say (despite my annoying hayfever lol), I’m loving it! When it is done well, the floral trend looks so pretty… whether it’s printed onto dresses, tops, shirts, trousers or even embroidered onto shoes. I think it adds a certain softness to an outfit.
I originally bought this dress for a bridal shower last year. The theme of the bridal shower was mint green which I definitely didn’t have in my wardrobe. So I frantically searched online for a last minute fix. I found this cap sleeve shift dress on BOOHOO (you guys are probably sick of me saying this, but BOOHOO have so many hidden gems. I strongly believe it is an underrated fashion retailer). Anyways back to the dress – I love that the floral print is unique (it doesn’t look like the typical embroidered floral one that you see a lot nowadays if you know what I mean). And the material is light and breathable which is perfect for the spring.
This particular day was a bit windy so I paired the dress with a bright orange waterfall jacket. I thought the jacket complimented the orange floral print quite well. I opted for these beige loafers, they’re extremely practical, comfortable and go with so many outfits. And finally I threw on a crossbody faux leather bag – I love small bags like this because it encourages travelling light! Something I am still mastering lol.
Do you wear floral print? What other trends are you into this spring? Let me know in the comments below 🙂

God bless you!
6 A voice says, “Cry out.”
And I said, “What shall I cry?”
“All people are like grass,
and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field.
7 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
because the breath of the Lord blows on them.
Surely the people are grass.
8 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever.” – Isaiah 40:6-8
